They say that fences make great neighbors, our favorite green “fence” is Nellie R. Stevens Holly. They are wonderful, hardy, evergreen shrubs with a pyramidal growth habit. They produce clusters of tiny white flowers in the Spring that the bees flock to and nice ornamental red berries that the birds love in the Fall and Winter. We love them for their screening potential and think they look great at all stages of their life span.
