Spring - All At Once!

The pattern of strange weather continues in 2016.  We never really had a hard freeze this winter.  A few times the mercury dipped below 30, but only for a few hours, so no real freeze to speak of.  This has me somewhat concerned for our future… not only with regard to mosquitos but also for the unrelenting heat that we know to expect in a few short months! We survived 80 degree temps in February and have had some days close to 90 this March! This has consequently, seriously confused the plants.  I’ve seen Daffodils and Azaleas blooming at the same time this week.  Those two bloom cycles are usually about two and a half to three months apart!  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the last few weeks.
